Facilitating a 5-year strategic planning workshop with staff from Fridsro, Sri Lanka, an organisation that works with the most at risk children in SL.

Have you got some major decisions to make and not sure how to make them? Or, do you have a difficult situation to navigate and not sure how to go about it? Need some clear direction? Maybe you need some professional coaching?

Coaching works because coaches have the ability to view things from afar (objectively)— in what some call ‘helicopter vision’ — and to shed new light on difficult situations. Often they can act as a sounding board through tough decisions, help sharpen skills, and motivate.

Just as any good athlete wouldn’t think of training without the added insight, objective perspective and enthusiastic support of a qualified coach, many of today’s most successful leaders, professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and CEOs use the services of a qualified coach to take their lives, careers, or businesses to the next level.

A coach’s role is that of part consultant, part motivator, part therapist and part rent-a-friend. A coach’s core belief is that you probably know the solution to, or action required, to move you or your work forward to the next level. The role of your coach your is then to help you to self-discover that solution, set realistic and achievable goals, and commit to take appropriate actions that will help you achieve these goals.
